Kiruna church will become world famous when that has happened. This film by Jan Einar Eriksson shows a fantastic building, and you wonder “how to be able to move it”. The church was inaugurated in 1912 and is one of Sweden’s largest wooden buildings and very unique. The film also shows the beautiful interior with the altarpiece painted by Prince Eugen. Sometime during the bare land period of 2025, it will be removed, it is said. Let’s hope it goes well….
