Join the journey over Swedens highest mountain pass Flatruet to Funäsdalen and to two Fjälls to Idre. Rolling hills, roaring rivers, and vast woodlands. The county Härjedalen is the perfect place for a new adventure – like losing my motorcycle keys.

After having breakfast in Oviken our riding day started from the small town Persåsen – and quickly took us up a mountain. More or less by accident we stumbled over “Flatruet”. With an altitude of 975 meters, Flatruet is Swedens highest public mountain pass accessible with a vehicle and way above the tree line. It connects the towns Funäsdalen, Ljungdalen and Åsarna and is winding in the midst of the Scandinavian wilderness and passes the big mountain plateau Flatruet.
