Vindelfjällen is a mountain area in Sorsele and Storumans municipalities in Lapland, between the Vindelälven and Umeälven valleys. Vindelfjällen is part of the Västerbottensfjällen. A large part of the area is covered by the Vindelfjällen nature reserve, which with an area of 550,000 hectares is Sweden’s largest nature reserve (Wikipedia) and the second largest in Europe.
